About Calypso Kids
Calypso Kids was founded in 2010 by Emma-Jane Roberts to provide high-quality creative arts education.
Emma-Jane has been teaching for over twenty years in Birmingham, London and now in South Warwickshire. Alongside her classroom experience, she was a deputy headteacher, and so she recognises the importance of high-quality provision that parents and educators trust.

Children’s second hand book shop
The Lily Pad Book Shop is part of Calypso Kids, a creative arts education initiative founded by Emma-Jane Roberts.
The Lily Pad Book Shop complements Calypso Kids classes by providing a welcoming space filled with children’s books and creative activities inspired by Calypso Kids’ theme, such as the adventures of Calypso the Frog, and the multisensory experiences found in their classes.
This partnership enriches the community by combining a love of reading with creative arts education, making it a vibrant hub for families to explore stories, music, and art together.
Children visiting The Lily Pad Book Shop can expect to find pre-loved books, craft kits, and storytelling sessions that align with with The Calypso Kids curriculum, fostering creativity and imagination in a nurturing environment.
